For the many who are saddened when American Idol ends each year -- we have great news! The American Idols Live tour dates have just been released. Check them out to see if the Season Six Top 10 Idols will make a visit to your town! All tickets go on sale May 19th except Toronto on the 18th and Los Angeles and Anaheim on the 20th. Exact dates and times for sale are listed below after each scheduled performance. |

The new "American Idol" is Jordin Sparks. Sparks beat out Blake Lewis to take the title. Host Ryan Seacrest says a record 74 million votes were cast by fans of the Fox show. He did not give a vote breakdown. Sparks was overcome after the results were read. She told the audience, "I can't thank you for keeping me around and thank you so much for everything." She nearly broke into tears while singing "This Is My Now," the song which will be her first single. |
