American Idol vet Jordin Sparks says she is still considering a song penned by Chris Brown.

Sparks, attending John Mayer's "One Splendid Evening" benefit concert Thursday, addressed the ongoing rumor that she'd recorded a duet with Chris Brown for her forthcoming sophomore album.

Speaking with reporters outside the event, Sparks said "It wasn't planned. He had written (the song) and I'm not sure if I'm going to get to it yet".

"I haven't recorded it yet, so we'll see".

If the song is picked up for Sparks' anticipated sophomore effort, it would become the second collaboration with the "Run It" singer who appeared opposite Sparks in the Grammy-nominated single "No Air".
